T-junction

October 1, 2024. I think everyone ends up standing at a T-junction a few times in life. Where you have only 2 choices. There simply aren't (any more) flavors than that. That's how it was for me now, in any case. I could go left: the familiar and safe choice. Or right: the exciting and challenging choice. Although there are certainly people who would experience my left and right the other way around completely.

Anyway, which choice was I supposed to make? What was the wise thing to do?

The wisest thing I ended up doing is: listening to my gut. Which kept getting stronger, and my plan clearer.

All the questions and conceivable doom scenarios came by, as if I were sitting in a nice long episode of Dragons' Den. Where I did the pitch myself, but in my head also represented all the panel members with their critical (read: sour and stingy) questions. At the same time, I felt in every pore of my body that if I gave in to that critical panel, I would come to regret it tremendously later. "If I don't do it now, then when?!" became my mantra.

And I decided to turn right.

Today I founded my own company: Checkin2flow, training & coaching. After years of training and coaching in the SHE world, where the focus was on Safety, I'm truly going to follow my passion in the area of Health. Mental well being, resilience, bounce back capacity, renewal, development, prevention is better than cure, are just a few keywords.
