About me
For years, within large organizations worldwide, I've had the opportunity to contribute to improving safety culture through training and coaching. I've had the privilege of meeting wonderful and remarkable people, from management to the shop floor. Each hierarchical level had its own challenges, but also its own issues.
Connecting these layers and thereby contributing to greater understanding and better collaboration – that truly gave me a real kick. While the topic of safety makes me very happy, mental resilience is my true passion.
For me, that's about living life as a human being, with all the ups and downs that naturally come with it. It's about finding and maintaining balance, resilience, and fortitude. But also about opportunities, development, renewal, and thus personal growth.

A Little More Background
My experience with people and behavior began as a flight attendant at KLM. On board, I learned to interact with different cultures and organizations. Working with a constantly changing crew taught me an incredible amount about communication and leadership. During those years, my fascination for (team) development emerged. After KLM, I worked for many years with an international training agency, collaborating with organizations worldwide. There, I supported teams in improving their safety culture. I facilitated these training sessions in English, Portuguese, German, and French. During that period, I had the privilege of meeting wonderful and remarkable people, from management to the shop floor. Each hierarchical level had its own challenges, but also its own issues. I find connecting these layers and thereby contributing to greater understanding and better collaboration truly rewarding.
Mental Resilience
Over time, I discovered that my interest increasingly shifted towards mental health, partly because I saw how (frontline) managers and teams struggled with it.
Space and Resilience
I believe in creating space for balance and resilience, for renewal and development, and ultimately for personal growth.
About Checkin2flow
To get there, checking in with yourself or with others is essential. Only then can flow re-emerge. 1 + 1 = 3. That is what flow means to me and the core of Checkin2flow.
Why organizations choose me
In a safe and clear setting, I invite open and honest conversations. Through a practical, interactive approach that aligns with daily practice, awareness is created, allowing teams to reconnect and function optimally. I apply four pillars in this process.
Mental resilience as a foundation
Space for slowing down, fostering awareness, and strengthening resilience and balance.
Psychological safety
A safe space for honest conversations and to explore what's happening beneath the surface.
Team Connection
From stuck patterns to collaboration and shared responsibility.
Practical Change
Relatable insights and practical tools that bring momentum to daily practice.
Training and Certifications
These training programs form the foundation of my work and define my coaching approach

I completed an accredited coaching program at the Association for Coaching. I learned to guide from a place of equality, using listening, reflection, and powerful questions as a foundation to raise awareness and inspire action in people.
During the ICM Trainer Training, I developed into a professional trainer. I learned all facets of the profession, from designing a didactic program to creative working methods, and gained insight into my personal style and strengths as a trainer.
As a team coach, I guide teams in their development and collaboration. I observe patterns, communication, and dynamics within teams and help create momentum towards more effective collaboration.
In my work, I use systemic practices to make visible what often plays an unconscious role. By examining underlying patterns and relationships, insight and space for change emerge.
As a systemic coach, I look not only at the individual but also at the context in which someone works and lives. This helps to place issues in a broader perspective and enable sustainable change.
I work according to the CSR method®, a proven approach for stress-related complaints and burnout. The focus is on recovery, balance, and strengthening resilience, with attention to both mental and physical signals.
ACT is a proven method that enhances mental resilience and helps manage stress, uncertainty, and change. This approach isn't about 'fixing' things, but about making space for what is and taking steps in a direction that feels right for you.
The Collaboration Scale helps teams understand the current state of their collaboration. It reveals what's working well and where tension or distance arises. This creates a shared language and space to collectively take steps towards better collaboration.
